Covid Nightmare!!

We were planning to attend a family reunion in BC last summer so we bought an RV from Motor Home Travel (MHT) to take the family across Canada.

We purchased used and the unit only needed a few things but we were assured that it would be ready for our trip.

MHT encountered a cascade of shipping issues from delays to wrong parts to partial shipments that continued for a number of months but the team at MHT made absolutely sure that not one of these trickled down to us and to hinder our amazing family experience of see the country.

Due to a few bumps in the road that I had, my purchase was not the quickest sale they have experienced but with their patience and understanding I was able to bring it home just a few months later than planned. My husband and I have just booked a Motor Home, for the 3rd time to take our grandchildren on a summer vacation.  The summer of 2017 was our ‘first’ excursion – with our 6 grandchildren.  Since this was our first time rental, CJ and the staff at Motor Home Travel took all of the time needed to teach us how to maximize the use of the RV – from navigating, filling water tanks & emptying the holding tanks to the use of appliances, generator and safety protocols.  On our 2nd summer vacation, CJ, Denise and Heather went out of their way to ensure that we were well-equipped in our ‘home’ on wheels for a trip, from Wasaga Beach, ON, all the way to the East Coast – NB, PEI and NS. CJ, Denise and Heather were as excited about our trip as we were … making sure that everything was in ‘A’-ONE Shape!!

We have found the motor home, on each of our trips, exceptionally clean, mechanically fit, spacious with all of the luxuries of ‘home’.  Each time, as well, the staff have ensured that we have telephone numbers, in hand, to call during our trip if questions arise.

As a cottager owner, our summers have historically been filled by spending much time at our cabin by our lake. Last year we were invited to a remote wedding which prompted us to rent our first RV, and now we find ourselves looking to create RV adventure opportunities.
